capture a new point of view
Calling all future filmmakers ages 9 to 15. The Northern Ontario Film Academy is excited to host a single week session at Camp Can-Aqua this summer. The NOFA Film Camp introduces aspiring young filmmakers to the magic of movie-making through hands-on sessions in acting, production, directing, film editing, lighting and photography. Campers enjoy the full residential camp experience while participating in focused, film-specific programming each day.
By the end of the week, campers return home with a completed reel, a finished short film and, most importantly, the skills and confidence to create their own low-budget films.
Each day includes three periods dedicated to Film and Production sessions. A fourth elective period ensures campers also have the chance to be outdoors, stay active and enjoy the traditional camp environment that Can-Aqua is known for.
